We are pleased to share a recent milestone achieved by Rheinland Klinikum Neuss GmbH. Their cardiology team at Lukaskrankenhaus has successfully enrolled the 100th patient in the Robocath CHANGE Registry, marking an important step in the evaluation of robotic-assisted coronary interventions:
Our cardiology experts at Lukaskrankenhaus have successfully enrolled the 100th patient in the Robocath CHANGE Registry — congratulations to the entire team on reaching this important milestone.
CHANGE is a real-world registry study designed to evaluate the performance and safety of the R-One system for robotic-assisted coronary interventions (PCI), with the aim of confirming both safety and clinical benefits.
The CHANGE registry plans to recruit up to 500 patients across as many as 15 centers, in order to validate key advantages such as reduced radiation exposure.
The team at Lukaskrankenhaus is fully convinced of the benefits of robotic-assisted procedures. Since 2020, colleagues at the Neuss Lukaskrankenhaus have been using a Robocath robotic system in the field of interventional cardiology.
Since 2024, an additional high-tech tool has been in use: a globally unique command center, individually designed and tailored by Prof. Dr. Michael Haude, Chief Physician and Center Director. This command center integrates all necessary components for precise, state-of-the-art robotic-assisted cardiac catheter diagnostics and therapy.
